James Felton

Head Coach 17-Mizuno

This will be the 5th year for James at Club Red and his 3rd as Director. Last season, James coached the Club Red 17s team to a Bronze medal finish in the Open division of Junior Nationals. Additionally, the team won the 18s Fiesta Classic & Colorado Crossroads Qualifier, finished 2nd at the Reno Far-Western Qualifier, and won the Arizona Region Championships. The year before that, James coached the Club Red 16s which had a very successful year. That 16s team won the 18s Fiesta Classic, the Colorado Crossroads Qualifier, the Southern California Qualifier, and finished 5th at Junior Nationals.

Additionally, James has been the head coach for Seton Catholic in Chandler, AZ. James is in his 5th year at Seton and during his tenure there, Seton has won 3 straight state championships from 2008-10 after being a finalist in his first year in 2007.

Before coming to Arizona, James had a successful coaching career in California. His Roxy Beach 15s team won an OPEN division Bronze Medal at Junior Nationals. Before that, his Saddleback Valley 18s boys team also won an OPEN division Bronze Medal at Junior Nationals.

Jason Watson

Club Director

2011 will be Jason's second year as a director for Club Red. Jason will be overseeing the club's coaching staff. Jason is in his 3rd year as the ASU Women's Head Coach. Before coming to ASU, Jason was the Head Coach for the BYU Women's team where his teams were 74-18 while going to the NCAA tournament three straight years. In 2007, his BYU team finished 24-8, made it to the Elite 8 in the NCAA Tournament, and finished the season ranked 12th in the Nation. As a player, Jason was a four year starting setter at BYU and was named an All-American in 1994.

Mike Wall

Club Director

This will be Mike's second year as a director at Club Red. Mike's primary tasks will be travel, website updates, staff training, and assisting James with day to day operations.

From 2006-2008 Mike served as the first assistant coach for Arizona State University Women's Volleyball, helping the Sun Devils back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 4 years.

In 2005 Mike served as the first assistant coach at the University of Utah. The Utes won the MWC Tournament, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Before Utah, Mike was coaching at Saint Mary's College. While on the Gaels' staff, Wall helped the team to a 24-4 overall record and a sweet 16 appearance.

Mike was a two time First Team All American at Brigham Young from 1997-2002, and was a part of two National Championship squads. In 2001 Mike was named the final four MVP after sweeping UCLA for the title. From 2001-2003 Mike played professionally in Switzerland, Puerto Rico, and with the USA National Team.
